An FBI channeler speeds up the filing of your background check. However, it does not take your fingerprints and it does not apostille the result. We do both, and we file through an approved channeler when your case qualifies.

Do you actually need an FBI channeler?
An FBI channeler is a private company approved by the FBI to submit background check requests electronically and return the result. The Bureau keeps the list of approved companies public, which is why the term matters: approval is verifiable, not a marketing claim.
What the channel actually buys you is speed at one step — the filing. Meanwhile, everything before and after it stays exactly where it was.

Where an FBI channeler fits in your file
A channeler transmits your fingerprint submission electronically and returns the federal record. That is one link in a chain of three, and the other two are what decide whether the document arrives usable.
- The prints still have to be captured. Somewhere that rolls them correctly, on the right card. From outside the United States, that is usually the hard part.
- The report still has to be apostilled. Most consulates and immigration authorities will not accept the federal record without the seal from the US Department of State.
So the honest summary is this: the electronic filing is rarely what holds a file up. If you are outside the United States, the capture and the seal are.

That search runs about a thousand times a month, and it rests on a false premise. Channelers file electronically. Therefore their distance from you changes nothing at all.

How we work
How we file through an FBI channeler
- Assessment. We confirm where you are, what the report is for, and whether your case qualifies for the channel route. Not every applicant does.
- Capture. You come to one of our offices, or the kit reaches your address with instructions.
- Review. Every card passes a five-point check first, because a rejected submission costs a full cycle.
- Filing. We submit through an approved channeler where the route is open to you. Otherwise the request goes to the FBI in Clarksburg, West Virginia, and we tell you the difference in timing up front.
- Apostille. Finally, we file the seal with the US Department of State when the destination asks for it.
When your case qualifies for the channel route, the filing is the same channel a channeler would use. Consequently the FBI-side timing is the same. What changes is that the prints and the apostille are handled too.

Are you an FBI-Approved Channeler?
No. We are not on the FBI list, and we will not tell you otherwise — the list is public and you can check it. We file through an approved channeler when your case qualifies for that route, and we handle the whole file around it: capturing your fingerprints in person and getting the result apostilled.
Do I need a channeler near me?
No. Channelers file electronically, so their location is irrelevant. What has to be near you is the fingerprint capture, and that is the part we solve at our Miami and Bogotá offices or with a shipped kit.
Is filing through a channeler faster than going to the FBI directly?
Usually yes, when the route is open to you. The electronic channel skips the postal leg to Clarksburg, West Virginia. However, the saving disappears entirely if the card is rejected, which is why the review before filing matters more than the route.
Does every applicant qualify for the channel route?
No, and anyone who tells you otherwise is guessing. Eligibility depends on what the report is for and where you are. We confirm which route applies to your case before you pay anything.
Is the apostille included when you file through a channeler?
Not automatically. The apostille is a separate filing before the US Department of State, and it is one of the steps we handle as part of your file.
